In 2003, we began our journey as paperboy&co., Ltd., operating "Lolipop!", a web hosting service designed specifically for individuals.

At the time, web hosting was expensive and catered almost exclusively to businesses and users with specialized technical knowledge. Standing out with the catchphrase "Web hosting for the young and trendy," Lolipop! won the hearts of students and young people through its catchy design and accessible pricing. We take pride in knowing that Lolipop! helped spark a paradigm shift—making it easy for anyone to build a website as a space for personal expression—and played a vital role in spreading the joy of expressing oneself on the internet.

Since then, we have evolved into GMO Pepabo, expanding our offerings across a wide variety of internet services. As our lineup of services has grown, so too has the diversity of the people we are able to empower. Those who build websites, write blogs, run online stores, sell original merchandise or handmade crafts, and those who work as freelancers... With the utmost respect, we refer to all of them as "Creators."

Fueled by technological advancements, the creative output of these individuals is forming a new, revenue-generating economic sphere, and the number of creators will undoubtedly continue to grow.
